“It has been such a natural exercise to combine my experiences as a parent with my love for writing poetry.
Since a young child I have always written poetry, a few lines in family birthday cards to full collections. Some of my poems are funny, others thought provoking, some short, some long, but all true life. I am beyond excited to have my first collection of poems published and very much hope you enjoy them.” – Anne Parlby
A charming collection of poems about the experience of having a child. From the excitement of expecting, scans, picking names and the eventual birth, it’s almost like a documentary of the experience in short, sweet, digestible chunks.
