The Delphi definition of dyslexia

It is now expected that assessors should map their findings to this definition and refer to it in a diagnostic assessment for dyslexia.

About

Dyslexia assessor, tutor and trainer

Hi, I'm Anne...

I have been involved in education all my working life. As a nursery nurse and as a teacher in early years and key stage one for nearly 30 years.

I have always been drawn to those with SEND and extra needs and have been a SENDco in two primary schools and SEND governor in a secondary school. I now teach 1:1 lessons in English for primary and secondary age children.

I offer full diagnostic assessments for dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD (16+) coloured overlay. I also offer consultations for children and parents, study skills for further and higher education, workplace needs and the navigating of ADHD in daily life.

In addition, I am also experienced in autism, and dysgraphia. I am passionate about my work and feel my greatest qualification in all I do is that I am myself, dyslexic with undiagnosed dyscalculia and ADHD. 😊
